FLAT BAGS
FLAT BAGS HAVE TWO DIMENSIONS AND ARE MEASURED AS FOLLOWS:
Width (W) X Height (H)
Example: 5 X 7 = 5” (W) X 7”(H)
WIDTH IS: The measurement across the open end where you fill the bag.
GUSSET (Gusseted) BAGS
GUSSET BAGS HAVE THREE DIMENSIONS AND ARE MEASURED AS FOLLOWS:
Width (W) X Gusset (G) X Height (H)
Example: 3 ½ X 2 ¼ X 8 ¼ = 3 ½” (W) X 2 ¼” (G) X 8 ¼” (H)
WIDTH IS: The measurement across the open end where you fill the bag.
GUSSET IS: The measurement of the side “PLEAT” or “DEPTH”
Gusset bags have pleated sides like a brown lunch bag or brown grocery bag would have.
That expands and allows you to fill the bag, if you have enough weight in the bag then it will stand up.
If you fill it with marshmallows or any other item that is light or top heavy the bag is going tip over!
